As a playwright, I hope to create dark and whimsical tales for the modern era. I enjoy exploring issues of feminism, environmental degradation and classism through fantastical and genre-bending storytelling.
The Girls' Guide to Friends and Demons, a reimagining of Faust and dark comedy about female friendship, first received a staged reading with Northwestern's Adaptfest and then with Artery Theatre at Kibbitznest Books, Brews and Blarney in November 2023. My other work includes Magic Door, which received a reading as part of the Heart to Heart Ten Minute Play Festival with Artery Theatre in March 2024, Faerie Ring, a climate change fairytale about a mother and daughter confronting their past, and Anima, a dark comedy about the ghosts of extinct animals.
